Pour5 is currently in private beta.

A small number of bars, found through direct conversation and referral. We are picking for difference. A dive bar, a cocktail bar, a hotel bar and a neighbourhood pub will break Pour5 in four different ways, and we would rather find all four now than get very good at one of them.

So if your bar is the odd one out, that is the reason we want it. An unusual menu, a house pour nobody else does, categories that only make sense to you. Those are the ones that tell us something.

The trade is simple. You get a system that makes your life easier. We get honest, specific feedback from someone actually running a bar.

Tell us what worked, what didn't, what would help, and any wild ideas you have. Some of it we'll build. Some of it we'll say no to, and say why.

Findings on your menu, without the setup. Connect your register and Pour5 reads it back to you: pricing gaps, missing costs, duplicate items. None of that waits on you scanning a single bottle.

You talk to the people building it. No support queue, no account manager. The person who answers you is the person who writes the code.

What you tell us gets heard. Not by a support queue, by the people deciding what to build. We won't build all of it, and we'll tell you which parts and why.

Free for the length of the beta. You're doing real work for us by running Pour5 in a real bar and telling us what breaks. We're not going to charge you for that.

Conversation. Give us lots of feedback. Short notes when something works, longer ones when it doesn't. If a screen makes no sense at 11pm with wet hands, we need to hear that, not have it quietly worked around.

Tolerance for in-development software. This is beta. Things will change, break, and get rebuilt while you're using them. If you need something polished today, this isn't it yet.

Does it work with my register? Square is the one that's built. Toast and Clover are already designed for, we just haven't had a bar on either to build against. So if you're running something else, tell us anyway. We can't promise you a date, but what people are actually running is how we decide what comes next.

How much of my time does this take? A few minutes at a time. Connecting happens once, a delivery is a photo, and a count is a check rather than a survey. Check-ins happen on whatever channel you already use. A quiet week is the goal, not a missed one.

What happens to my numbers? They stay yours. Your sales, costs and margins are your business record. We don't sell or share them. What we learn from you is general knowledge about how bars work, never a record of your business itself.

What's the catch? It's early software. Some edges are rough, and some features arrive mid-beta. In exchange, the product gets shaped around bars like yours.

Alongside your name, your bar and your email, tell us what your bar is like and what about it never fits the software you've tried. Tell us what's actually giving you trouble, what's eating up your time, and what you'd want instead if anyone asked. A few honest paragraphs might make you our next beta partner.
